Hello every ones....this time i wiil tell you about how to see your diamond is fake or real diamond.
Well, if you buy a diamond ring, of course you want to know whether the diamond you have is genuine or not.
I will share some easy ways to test your diamond so you can test it at home.
we will share of them with you and telling you which ones work and wich only partially work.
if you want to do this test, you will need to prepare several things. you will need a magnifying glass, a newspaper, a ten power jeweler's loupe, plate glass, a news paper, and the black light.
OK, I will explain the steps one by one to you.
STEPS ONE :
SCRATCH TEST
maybe you've heard that a diamond can scratch glass, that's true.
But many other gemstones do as well. if your diamond is real, you may damage it by scraping it across glass. So let's leave this test, because this test can't be used as a guide to assess the authenticity of diamond stones. This test only partially work.
STEPS TWO :
THE FOG TEST
Real diamonds disperse heat instantaneously. You can tell if your rock is the real thinf by fogging it up like a mirror. if it stays fog for 3 to 4 seconds or longer is a fake diamond. Real diamond can clear instantly. With this test, you must make sure that's is completly clean or really free from oil and dirt. the crystalline structure which is tight and evenly distributed from the diamond causes the real diamond can quickly disperse heat.
STEPS THREE :
THE TRANSPARENCY TEST
This step can be done by yourself if your diamond is released from the ring. After first making sure it is clean. placed your unmounted diamond on top of newsprint with the pointy side the pavilion facing up.
If you can read the newsprint clearly throught the stone, that's your diamond is a fake, probably a cubic zirconium or cz .genuine diamond scatter light as it passes throught. them making the newsprint look a little blurry.
STEPS FOUR :
THE INCLUSION TEST
All fake diamonds have one thing in common, none have any inclusions or internal blemishes. So if you didn't pay a lot of money and then you get diamond with perfect clarity, That chances are the fake diamond.
STEPS FIVE :
THE BLACK LIGHT TEST
You may have heard about the real diamonds can making up here fluorescent blue under a black or ultraviolet light, well that almost true. Only about one third of all diamonds will look fluorescent blue.
99% of fake don't look blue. So would you to do this test yourself at home with store bought blacklight, it wouldn't tell you much.
So don't think about blacklight test anymore.
STEPS SIX :
DETECTING TREATED DIAMONDS
Some real diamond have flaws. Flaws that jewelers, fixed by injecting liquid silicone into the stone. The method mentioned above has weaknesses. Diamonds that have been injected are not permanent. Exposure to heat from the sun and some household cleaning soap can change the color of the silicon to be different and give a bad sparkle effect, it can be said that your efforts to cover up your diamond shortcomings have failed.
Do it test with a 10 power loop. You will need to view your diamond on mounted, turn the diamond on to it's face point side up and examine it carefully.
If you see flashes of single colors then you were looking at a fracture filled, that means tehe diamonds is real. But if you see flashes with many rainbow colors at ones, you are probably looking a threated diamonds.
In most of state, if you are not notified by the seller, when you first buy a diamond about a silicone injection, it can violate the laws in force in that country.
